- The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to construct a new Outdoor Recreation Facility Complex. This acquisition will be offered FULL AND OPEN WITH NO SET-ASIDE. The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, and supplies and shall perform all labor, supervision, fabrication, assembly, and installation necessary to construct a new Outdoor Recreation Facility Complex defined by Government-provided 100% designs and specifications. Location of work shall be MacDill AFB, FL, 33621-5119. The period of performance is expected to be 425 days after award of contract. The magnitude of this requirement, IAW FAR 36.204, is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 236220. Product Service Code (PSC) for this project is Y1FB. Solicitation FA481418R0001 is expected to be issued on or around 11 January 2018. The closing date and time for the submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including drawings and specifications, will be available in electronic format exclusively on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at www.fbo.gov and at no cost. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. In addition, offerors MUST register at www.fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Lastly, contractors MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the System for Award Management (SAM) at web site www.sam.gov. This is a non-appropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars.
