- The Regional Contracting Office-MCI WEST, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement for paint and body repair service of Government owned non-tactical type equipment. Service is to be provided at contractor location. Contractor location shall be within 100 miles of the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, and Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego. The period of performance is expected to begin 15 February 2018. The anticipated procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or around 28 December 2017 for the services described above. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 811121 "Automotive body, Paint and Interior Repair Maintenance ". Conducting Business with the Government. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov.
