- Project Description PROJECT: CA NPS PP 2016(9) Pavement Preservation Northern California, Siskiyou, Shasta and Humboldt Counties, California LOCATION: Lava Beds National Monument is located approximately 110 miles east of Yreka, CA. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is located approximately 8 miles west of Redding, CA. Redwood National Park is located approximately 40 miles north of Arcata, CA WORK: The work consists of 46.09-mile project will preserve parking areas and approach roads with the application of micro-surfacing and chip seal on selected routes within Lava Beds National Monument, Redwoods National Park and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Construction will include crack sealing, patching, and pavement marking and other small items of work. LENGTH: 46.09 Miles received from Design.) TENTATIVE COMPLETION DATE: Fall 2018. Click on "Register Now" and follow the directions. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED AS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Eligible small business firms; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. The Maximum line of credit is $750,000. The STLP loan has a variable rate, which is connected to the prime rate.
