- see attached The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Range Systems Department, Code RS-33 requires various system support parts related to the Vertical Launch System (VLS) Mark 25. This requirement is a sole source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336419; the associated business size standard is 1000. The anticipated contract type is firm-fixed price. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for this procurement action. The Government intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed priced contract to Sioux Manufacturing Corporation due to the technical specifications and proprietary tolerance testing associated with their fabrication, making them the approved source for NAVSEA. The solicitation will be made available on/or about 21 December 2017 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Therefore, it is the interest parties' responsibility to visit this website frequently for update on this acquisition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, or submit capability statements to, graham.m.conlon@navy.mil. This notice of interest is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Solicitation N64267-18-T-0028 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. Please see the attached RFQ for detail information on the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, shall be considered by NSWC Corona. Quote is due 29 December 2017 no later than 5:00pm PST. Questions and responses regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Graham Conlon, via email at graham.m.conlon@navy.mil prior to the RFQ closing.
