- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Softchoice Corporation 314 W. Superior St., Suite 400, Chicago, IL 60654, for a Subscription to Microsoft Dynamics 365 software. This software is proprietary. Only Microsoft has access to the source code necessary to provide the required subscription, which is comprised of updates, upgrades, fixes and telephone support. There is only one authorized reseller, Softchoice Corporation. The authority for this acquisition is set forth in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) "Soliciting from a Single Source." Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted electronically via email to katherine.medeiros@ssa.gov by 1 PM EST on January 2, 2018. No telephone calls regarding this matter will be accepted or returned.
