- Zone 20 Rentals Provisions and Clauses Zone 20 Rentals Schedule of Items This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 12819718B0001 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This procurement is being issued as FULL AND OPEN. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 532412, Size standard of $32.5 Million. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-96 and Agriculture Acquisition Regulation dated 14 March 2016. The results of this requirement will be a firm fixed priced (FFP) contract. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. The contractor shall respond to this solicitation by completing the attached Schedule of Items. Contract award will be provided to the vendor with the lowest price technically acceptable. This requirement is for heavy equipment rental (without operator) required to continue construction on the Nogales Ranger District in Arizona. The work is estimated to take approximately 120 calendar days to complete. EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS: • Hydraulic Excavator 100k lbs. plus total weight with lifting capacity of 40k lbs. • Crawler Dozer 95k/350HP • Articulated Dump 70k/440HP • Soil compactors/vibratory 84"drum /24k lbs. (Shell kit combination) • Articulating water truck 7000 gallon capacity • Water Tower, Portable 10,000 gallon capacity • Motor Grader all-wheel drive, 45k lbs. 14'blade • Support Service Truck (Fuel & Lube Capability) DELIVERY/SITE LOCATION: This project is located on Nogales Ranger District. Take Interstate 19 south to Exit 289. Get on west frontage road and continue south to Forest Service Road 4206. Head west to FS Road 218. Road will end at Forest Service Road 4210. Stay on 4210 for 8 miles. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The rental period is anticipated to be 120 days from delivery date. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED ITEMS/PERSONNEL: -Qualified Heavy Equipment Operator(s) -Fuel and Oil PRE-WORK INSPECTIONS: Prior to commencement of work, the Government Representative shall inspect all equipment. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The contractor shall be capable of delivering all equipment within 10 days of award.
