- Description
- The contractor shall provide design and development efforts associated with the installation of Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPSs) to mitigate the impact of incoming power issues or outages on TSS computing equipment at all TTFs. The contractor shall also provide all associated documentation necessary to install and maintain the equipment. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), Pittsfield,MA. GDMS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort. The contractor shall provide the design and development effort necessary to select and install UPSs to protect sensitive computing equipment in the TSS at GDMS TETS and the three TridentTraining Facilities (TTFs). This effort will involve identifying an appropriate UPS, adding the UPS to the appropriate lab arrangement drawings, and developing the necessary documentation to complete a SPALT to install the equipment. The contractor will deliver the following:  GDMS TETS Installation Kit (ELIN A001)  Bangor TTF Installation Kit (ELIN A002)  Kings Bay TTF Installation Kit (ELIN A003)  UK TTF Installation Kit (ELIN A004)  Technical Data Package for UPS Installation at TTFs (CDRL B001)  SPALT Document (CDRL B002)  Final Report documenting Installation Completion Status (CDRL B003) All efforts shall be performed in accordance with the T9001B checklist dated September 9, 2015 Training Type, Development Column, incorporated as part of the basic ordering agreement.
