- Draft Scope of Work Currently, JMTC has a requirement for this material. Vendors interested in this proposed acquisition must meet the criteria for Federal Supply Code (FSC) 3446, Forging Machines and Steel Forging, and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 332111, Iron and Steel Forging. It is anticipated that the subsequent procurement will be a firm-fixed-price contract. All deliveries will be on a FOB Destination basis. Forging shall be in accordance with the Government provided drawings, available at the time of the solicitation. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to issue this Request for Quote (RFQ), W52P1J-18-T-0026, on a competitive basis. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is on or about 03 January 2018 with a closing date approximately 30 days from the date of issuance. The acquisition will be solicited on a competitive firm-fixed price basis among eligible businesses, as a full and open, unrestricted competition. The end user is the Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center located in Rock Island, IL. FOB Destination. The proposed resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Any potential vendor must be qualified to supply the item, in accordance with the Government provided controlled drawing, prior to award. This proposed requirement is for the following items: Forgings, in accordance with a Scope of Work and five (5) Government controlled drawings: 1) 525884, 2 Each; 2) 525885, 2 Each; 3) 525886, 2 Each; 4) 525887, 2 Each; and 5) 525889, 8 Each. A draft Scope of Work is available within this notice as a separate attachment. Drawings are available at the following link: https://www.fbo.gov/fedteds/W9098S18T0026 Vendors wishing to view the drawing before the solicitation and/or requirement is formally posted must be registered as an authorized entity with Joint Certification Program (JCP) and have an active Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) account. Note that JCP registration may take several days to several weeks for processing. Vendors are encouraged to register for access early and prior to a solicitation release.
