- Veterans Affairs Seeking Medical Space The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease a minimum of 19,000 19,950 maximum usable square feet of medical office space in the Petersburg, Virginia delineated area. The space must be handicap accessible in according with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and ready for occupancy immediately. On-site parking for 120 vehicles is required including 30 designated handicapped parking spaces specifically for VA usage. The VA requires a full-service lease for a five (5) year firm term with an additional five (5) years for a total of ten (10) years. All proposed space must be within the following delineated area: Within five (5) miles of the center of the City of Petersburg. The delineated area expands from the following: Intersection of Route 301 and Temple Avenue Intersection of Courthouse Road and E Washington Street Intersection of S Sycamore Street and S Crater Road Intersection of Youngs Road and Lincoln Street Intersection of Hickory Road and Stonewood Manor Drive Interested offerors must contact Contract Officer Jackie Bray via E-Mail at Jackie.Bray@va.gov. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 12:00 EST on 12/22/2017. The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space.
