- Embossing Tag Machines Maintenance Performance Work Statement Embossing Tag Machine Maintenance SSS Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to solicit and issue a full-and-open competition contract to for the following services: The Contractor shall perform PM and RM Support Services on the Embossing Tag Machines. The Contractor shall perform an alignment and annual safety inspections. Any system(s) that fails the alignment or inspection, the Contractor shall evaluate and perform recommended repairs via remedial maintenance. If/when remedial maintenance is performed; at completion of such maintenance repairs, the Subject Matter Expert (SME) will verify the Tag Machines are fully operational. Additionally, Contractor shall warranty service per Company's normal warranty policy. PM/RM of tweleve (12) Matica model C410, three (3) Matica model C320, one (1) New Bold Corporation model 400, and two (2) CIMUSA model MDT1000. The Government is expecting to add a minimum of eight (8) more of these machines over the five (5) year contract. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. The proposed basic period of performance (PoP) is: 1 April 2018 through 31 March 2019. The proposed length of contract is a basic + 4, 1-year option periods: 1 Apr 18 - 31 Mar 2023. The estimated award date is 15 March 2018. System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 with a size standard of $7.5M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this Sources Sought Synopsis.
