- Pre-Solicitation Design-Build Project of the Interior and Repair Exterior at B343 This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the pre-solicitation synopsis for upcoming project Homestead Air Reserve Base, Homestead AFB, FL, to make interior/exterior repairs to B343. The project consists of all tools, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to make and entry signage to Bldg 343. This work includes but is not limited to installing new awnings, various material removal, creating openings and installing new doors, installtion of A/C unit and exhaust fans, establishing hand rails, modifying customer roll-up door to name a few. The full requirement will be contained within the SOW that will be provided at time of Solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% small business Woman Owned Small Business Set-Aside (WOSB). Offers from other than WOSB small business concerns will not be considered. The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The magnitude of this requirement is between $100,000 and 250,000. The period of performance shall be for 160 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This will be a firm-fixed price construction contract. The solicitation will utilize FAR part 15 & 36 procedures. Bidders are encouraged to check this website (www.fbo.gov) and can view and/or download the solicitation, any attachments and drawings on or around 28 December 2017. For information on how to register your company on FBO, to view or receive updates and notifications to the solicitation, please reference the FBO Vendor Guide located on the FBO web site home page. NO paper copies of the solicitation will be furnished. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement. **NOTE: Prior to award of the contract, Contractors must be actively registered and have completed the Certifications and Representations via System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://www.sam.gov/ to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program.
