- Page 2 of 2 The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) Southern Tier in North Chicago, Illinois is soliciting a Nonpersonal services contract to replace three (3) Liebert 20-ton, downflow, air-cooled CRAC systems servicing building 1 at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (Hines VAH) in Hines, IL. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete all services defined in the Statement of Work (SOW) found in the upcoming Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C25218Q0041 anticipated to be posted to fbo.gov on or before December 15, 2017 with a quote due date of December 27, 2017. The following NAICS Code and Small Business Size Standard has been identified for this requirement: 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a Size Standard of $15 Million in annual revenue. RFQ 36C25218Q0041 shall be set aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) in accordance with (IAW) VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7006. In order to be eligible for consideration, all offerors must comply with VAAR 819.7003, which may be accessed at https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/. The period of performance (POP) shall be January 1, 2018 through April 1, 2018. One site visit has been scheduled for this upcoming solicitation: Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM (Central Time) at the Hines VAH Prospective quoters shall contact the Contract Specialist, Michael Sands, at michael.sands3@va.gov to confirm their intention of attending this site visit no later than Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 4:00 PM (Central Time). Quoters shall provide their company name and the name(s) of their representatives attending the meeting. Upon receipt of confirmation to attend the site visit, the Contract Specialist will provide the exact location and VA representative contact information for this site visit. All communications regarding this solicitation and site visit shall be issued in writing to the Contract Specialist.
