Description
Market Research for Marine Corps Rapid Capabilities Office: Data Research and Decision Analysis Services/Tool This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice. The Marine Corps Rapid Capabilities Office (MCRCO) is seeking information from potential, responsible sources that have the interest and capability for semi-autonomous data collection and analysis using existing subscription services, research services, or existing software (open source or licensed) available for commercial use. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals or the existence of a firm requirement. Submission of any information in response to this market research is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred. Issuance of this RFI will not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Telephone inquiries will not be entertained, accepted, or acknowledged and no feedback or evaluation will be provided to companies regarding their capability submissions. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as proprietary. Market Research Subject: The MCRCO is tasked with the responsibility to identify emergent, divergent, and disruptive technologies to in order to conduct assessments and inform future investment. MCRCO is seeking potential sources for existing subscription services, research services, or open source or licenses software that permits data collection and semi-autonomous decision analysis and recommendation activities. The end state of this service or software is to make recommendation(s) on potential future projects as one part of the overall MCRCO project selection process. The purpose of this service or software is to conduct research, collection, and categorization of available open source information and approved government sources based on general search parameters. The service or software would then rate and rank the information, according to configurable parameters, and output a report with this data and a brief synopsis of each listing. The service or software must provide links to the source data for further independent market research. In addition to private entities, existing federal labs, educational institutions, and state and local entities are also encouraged to respond if you have an existing tool or services that may meet the solution in this sources sought. Interested parties are invited to provide the following information: 1. Company Information a. Name, Address and Point of Contact information b. DUNS and CAGE Code c. Business size and type (large, small, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, minority owned, service disabled veteran owned, woman owned, 8(a), HUB Zone, or other type such as non-profit, federal lab, educational institution, state or local entity. ) d. Any available or existing contract vehicles including DOD, SEAPORT-e, NASA SEWP, GSA Federal Supply Schedule, PIA, or other existing federal contract vehicles. 2. Statement of capabilities a. Description of the current service or software capability and how/where it is employed. b. Description of the software or service as commercially available, or developmental/experimental. c. Any other information the respondent believes to be of value to the Government in evaluating current capabilities in supporting the potential requirement.
