- U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is sponsoring a Small Business Outreach Event to engage the vendor community. The event will be held in Lakewood, CO January 23-24, 2018. Agenda Information (DRAFT): General Outreach Event: 8:00 a.m. ¿ 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2018 Networking and Q&A event: 9:00 a.m. ¿ 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2018 USGS Program Managers, Contracting Specialists/Officers and Small Business Specialists are supporting this event. USGS-specific presentations and contract updates on open and future procurement opportunities will be provided. There will also be a Networking and Q&A Event providing the opportunity for Small Businesses to meet and discuss capabilities, opportunities, etc. with various representatives from USGS and network among themselves for subcontracting and teaming opportunities. Please register for this event with an email to gs_smallbusiness@usgs.gov. This email should include the attendee ¿s name and company (limit of 1), and interest in attending the Thursday Networking and Q&A event. Due to space limitations, registration is limited to the first 50 individuals responding to this announcement.
