- Request for Information Noise Suppressor Repair Performance Work Statement Noise Suppressor Repair Request for Information Jet Engine Noise Suppressors Repair & Installation PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION: Jet Engine Noise Suppressors (Test Cells/Hush House) are used to reduce the overall noise levels of jet engines under test. Engines are tested while installed in aircraft or uninstalled and mounted on a test stand. Jet Engine Noise Suppressors come equipped with a pneumatically or electrically actuated fire suppression system that is designed to protect assets (including human life) while testing is performed. The noise suppressors are demountable and can be relocated to another location based on mission requirements. The requirements of this effort includes the repair and installation of T-9 (NSN 4920-01-082-1035), T-10 (NSN 4920-01-127- 4640), T-11 (NSN 4920-01-070-2721), and T-12 (NSN 4920-01-256-8621) pneumatically and electrically actuated fire suppression systems configurations, and delivery of Technical Orders (T.O.) and Technical Data Packages (T.D.P.) to the Government. Our acquisition strategy is envisioned to be a six month extension to the current contract, FA8519-13-D-0001. The current Performance Work Statements (PWS) are attached for your reference.
