- PWS Draft, Rev 12082017 ****************************************************** ************ UPDATE 12/12/2017 *************** ******************************************************** Folsom Dam Security Guard Services - Sources Sought Amendment #2 R17PS01157 - Sources Sought - Folsom Area Office This notice is a request for additional capabilities information from Small Businesses interested in the Bureau of Reclamation's requirement for armed security guards at the Folsom Dam complex. The Government has not been able to make a positive determination whether there are sufficient small businesses with the capabilities to provide the services to set aside the requirement for small businesses only. We are requesting that interested small businesses review (and respond to) the attached revised draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) to determine whether they have the capability to meet the additional details in the description of the required capabilities. Changes have been highlighted in yellow on the attached PWS. Contractors are requested to specifically address their ability to meet the requirements of Item #5.c. on pages 5-7 and Item #7 "Additional Contractor Requirements" (Firearms, Defensive Equipment, Marksman Qualification, Body Armor, Patrol Vehicles, and Radios) on pages 7-9 of the PWS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561612 ‘Security Guard and Patrol Services' with an associated size associated size standard of $20.5M. This notice is not a solicitation, it is request for input from potential sources. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals and the Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice. This notice is for research and information purposes only. No award will be made as a result of this notice. Businesses, agencies, or departments with the capability to perform the requirement under the applicable NAICS code are encouraged to submit a response to this notice. The information requested is: 1. Company name, address, DUNS number, point of contact name and email address 2. Business size and small business size classification if applicable (e.g. 8(a), HubZone, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned, etc.) 3. Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability and resources to meet the additional specifications of the requirement as described above. 4. Your intent to submit a quote if a solicitation is issued. All responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted electronically (via email) to Laura StJohn at lstjohn@usbr.gov by no later than Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. PST.
