?.## SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Salient Characteristics for Scientific Type 1 Purified Water Source / Dispenser The water purification unit(s) must have the following characteristics: Unit must be able to be wall mounted (with an optional wall mounting kit if the system does not come equipped for wall mounting). A range of accessories must be available to complement the unit Unit must be fed with pre-treated water such as is available from the Bldg 101 deionized water supply. Unit(s) must have available point of use 0.2 micron final filters and or point-of-use biofilters (for EU/DNase/RNase reduction). Unit(s) require pressure regulators and gauges (0-100psi; 316LSS) Unit(s) requires disposable / replaceable purification filter cartridges Unit(s) must have UV lamp (185/254nm) Unit(s) must have available service contracts and or contracts that can be included into institutional coverage by selected vendors. Must be able to produce water with resistivity equal to or greater than 18.2 M.cm (0.055 S/cm) Unit must be able to produce 45,000 liters with >18M.cm per single purification pack/ S at pH 7.0 Must be able to produce a flow rate of 2 liters/minute max Unit must be able to produce highly pure water with bacterial content <1 cfu/ml Unit must be able to produce water that is effectively neutral in pH ***Items 0002 0013 below shall be priced separately only if not included with the Unit (0001), otherwise these should be NSP (Not Separately Priced).
