- Special Notice: The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Reconditioning Center (NRC) awarded a Purchase Order for the evaluation to repair:6 each DETECTOR, AUDIO FREQUENCY/ARC, AMC PN: MODEL #GES8686W; UNISYS PN: 1D20332H04, ASN: R400-3A6 and is awarding a modification to authorize the completion of the repairs. Sole Source Justification: The Government only knows of one source, Continental Microwave and Tool Co., Inc., DBA; Cobham Integrated Electronics Solutions the repair division for the OEM. Multiple searches of the Small Business Administration (SBA) Dynamic Small Search did not identify any small business available to compete for this required repair service. Search parameters included a combination of NAICS codes '334220' and key words: 'repair, arc detector, radar waveguide'; and just key words: 'repair, arc detector, radar waveguide'; 'repair, arc detector, radar'; 'repair, arc detector, waveguide'; and 'repair, arc detector'. A search of " repair radar arc detector " in GSA's eLibrary returned no matches.
