- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 5985-01-240-8668. The item is to be manufactured in accordance with cage/drawing number 80063 / SM-D-967308. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term The solicitation will be for a three year base period with and two one-year option periods which will be extended in one year increments, at the discretion of the Government. The total duration not exceed five years. NAIC 334220 is applicable with Small Business Size Standard 750. Solicitation will be Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources (100% Small Business Set-Aside). The solicitation will be available on or about January 24, 2018 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/ NSN on this solicitation may be subject to export-control regulations and distribution will only be given to those contractors qualified to receive restricted drawings as listed in the Joint Certification program. If a contractor is not on this list, they may apply by filling out a DD Form 2345 entitled "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement", located at Http://WWW.DLIS.DLA.MIL/JCP, or by writing to: United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, Defense Logistics Information Service, Federal Center, 74 Washington Avenue, North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084. Award is also contingent upon meeting the CCAL requirement. In order to obtain Technical Data, contractor can refer to the Tech Data tab at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. This system contains Bidsets, Engineering Data Lists (EDLs) and digitized drawings for open BSM-DIBBS procurements after 10/01/2006. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. Drawings/specifications will be available through DIBBS link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
