Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) For Operational Test Purposes Only; seeking sources and is Not a Notice of Solicitation Issuance. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is NO bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. The requested information is for planning purposes and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect costs or charges will arise as a result of the submission of contractors' information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Description The National Guard Bureau (NGB), on behalf of the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC), Maintenance and Logistics Division, Tucson, Arizona, is requesting information and market research on the collection and analyses of information to determine the capabilities and capacity of a FAA-approved toilet for the ARC fleet of KC-135 aircraft. Research will be focused on an externally serviced toilet with the use of a ground serving cart with no structural aircraft modifications needed. Due to limited structural size the toilet assembly must not exceed (19) inches in width, (29) inches in depth and or (29) inches in height. Specific Capacity should be at least (8) U.S. gallons. Must be able to operate fully in all weather conditions including excessive heat and cold climates. (-40 degrees F to 140 degrees F). Electrical circuitry must be compatible with 28v DC power source. External servicing shall be performed by government personnel utilizing currently fielded ground servicing carts; minor modifications to hose fittings and couplers may be needed to the latrine or serving cart during integration and must be permitted by the supplier. Suppliers may request the model(s) and manufacturer(s) of these servicing carts. Commercial, non-developmental systems may be included in the information provided. Special Features/Capabilities: Summarize any special features or capabilities not contained herein that improve the overall ability of the equipment; 8. Validated Test Results: Summary of vendor and/or third party certifications and/or documented results of testing system parameters. These system parameters do not necessarily represent the minimum acceptable capabilities and are supplied as guidance only.
