- *Please see the attached Draft Statement of Work for more information in regards to procurement. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, veteran owned small business (VOSB), service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB), or large business) relative to NAICS 561320, Temporary Help Services, with a size standard of $27.5M. Note that if VA s market research establishes that two or more VOSB or SDVOSB that are certified in VA s Vendor Information Pages (VIP) site https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ can perform the service, VA will set aside the underlying solicitation per 38 U.S.C. Section 8127. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement or Request for Quote (RFQ) may be published on FBO or GSA eBuy. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22, is seeking sources for a contractor to provide temporary help services for the following positions: Two journeyman MTS Mechanics (at the VA West LA Campus) Six journeyman Painters Two journeyman Maintenance Mechanics Three journeyman Plumbers Four journeyman Woodcrafters One Carpenter Three journeyman Electricians Two Electrician Apprentice Lamper Two Motor Vehicle Operator with a minimum of a Class B California Drivers license Four Construction Managers One Maintenance Dispatch Assistant One Electronic Mechanic One Mason (mud & tape) Two journeyman Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanics Management and Program Analyst
