- Description
- The Government seeks to lease the following space: City: Springfield State: MA Delineated Area: Springfield MA Minimum ABOA Sq. Ft.: 900 Maximum ABOA Sq. Ft.: 1,035 Term: 10 years, 5 years firm. The space will be occupied by two (2) separate agencies that each require 450 usf. They must be separated into their own space, however the lease contract will be combined as one GSA Lease. 1 Parking space. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. The space must be capable of meeting the agencies security requirements. Space shall be located within a prime commercial district within the determined delineated area stated above, with attractive and prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Building must have sufficient public parking nearby. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the none year flood plain. Expressions of Interest must be submitted in AAAP by January 7th, 2018 and include the following information: •1) Building name and address, and location of space in building •2) Legal description •3) Drawing of space offered •4) ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet •5) Rentable Square Feed Offered •6) Percentage of Common Area Factor used to Determine the Rentable Square Feet •7) Number of parking spaces available on the premises •8) Name, address, telephone number and email address of individual to be contacted HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP), located at https://aaap.gsa.gov, will enable interested parties to offer space for lease to the Federal Government in response to RLP 18-REG01. In addition, the Government will use its AAAP to satisfy the above space requirement. Interested parties must go to the AAAP website, select the "Register to Offer Space" link and follow the instructions to register. Instructional guides and video tutorials are offered on the AAAP homepage and in the "HELP" tab on the AAAP website. Once registered, interested parties may enter offers during any "Open Period". The Open Period is the 1st through the 7th of each month, ending at 11:59 p.m. EST. Refer to AAAP RLP paragraph 3.02.A for more details on the offer submission process. The Government reserves the right to allow for multiple Open Periods prior to selecting an offer for award to meet this specific space requirement. Offers cannot be submitted during the Closed Period (8th through the end of each month) and will not be considered for projects executed during that time period. Lease award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer, without negotiations, based upon the RLP requirements package found on the AAAP website. During the Open Period, offerors will be permitted to submit new offers or modify existing offers. Offerors can draft an offer at any time; however, you can only submit an offer during the Open Period. The offered space must comply with RLP 18-REG01 and must meet Federal Government, State, and Local jurisdiction requirements, including requirements for fire and life safety, security, accessibility, seismic, energy, and sustainability standards in accordance with the terms of the Lease.
