- CAD/PAD Item Marking Instruction ADC Master Government Furnished Property CDRLs Comp. EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". COMPETITIVE CODE N742.14 NOTE: PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BY THE NAVY. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. THIS ITEM IS AN EXPLOSIVE DEVICE. QUANTITY - 111 EACH. ITEM DESCRIPTION: NSN 1377-01-138-3829, XW36, MK 205 CATAPULT CARTRIDGE; USED IN THE AV-8B HARRIER II. A SAFETY SURVEY WILL BE REQUIRED. EXPLOSIVE WEIGHT - 0.0136 LBS. EXPLOSIVE CLASS – 1.4. FIRST ARTICLE TESTING AND PRODUCTION LOT TESTING, CONTRACT DATA REQUIREMENT LISTS, GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIAL AND FOB ORIGIN APPLY. A COMPLETE DRAWING PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ON THE WEB.
