- Description
- This is a notice of intent that the government anticipates issuing a contract for engineering support for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) AN/ALR-56C and AN/ALR-56M Radar Warning Receivers applicable to the USAF fleet of F-15C/D/E, F-16 40/50 and 52 block, and C-130 aircraft and the FMS F-15S, F-16, and C-130 aircraft. The engineering support activities include operational flight program upgrades, mission data file generator executable files, hardware prototypes, test events, test support, FMS familiarization package, studies, and analyses. The government intends to solicit and negotiate a fair and reasonable price in accordance with FAR 15 and FAR 6.302. This requirement will be sole source to BAE Systems, 100 Campus Road, Totowa, NJ 07512, CAGE Code: 81413, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This contract will consist of five one-year ordering periods followed by five one-year option periods. Anticipated solicitation release is Dec 2017.
