- SUBJECT: Award Announcement RFQ VA262-17-Q-2037: to provide Contract Monitor Technicians for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS). FINDINGS: Fourteen (14) offers were received. Each offer was evaluated against the criteria published in the solicitation. As stated in FAR clause 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items, of solicitation VA262-17-Q-2037 (pgs. 65-66) of the solicitation, non-priced factors were more important than price and the Government may make contract award to other than the lowest-priced offeror. CONCLUSION: Vet-Biz verified SDVOSB, BRONZE STAR MEDICAL, submitted the most highly-rated proposal at a fair and reasonable price. The proposal was impartially evaluated by the Technical Evaluation Board and represents the best value to the Government, all evaluation factors considered. BRONZE STAR MEDICAL shall be awarded a Base, plus Three Option years, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to provide Contract Monitor Technicians for telemetry monitoring services at VALBHS Inpatient Units.
