- Description
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repair on Government Owned Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) as required for the following commissaries: Bangor NSB, Bremerton NB, Fairchild, Ft Lewis, McChord AFB, Smokey Point and Whidbey Island. MHE consists of: Battery Chargers, Electric Pallet Jacks, Electric/Gas/Propane Forklifts, Reach and Tiers, and Order Picker/Stock Selectors. The Period of Performance is oneyear from date of award (base period) with two one-year option periods. The solicitation and resulting contract will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items for PM and Time & Materials (T&M) line items for unscheduled repairs. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about November 30, 2017 with a tentative closing date of December 28, 2017. The anticipated award date is January 25, 2018 with an effective date of Mar 1, 2018. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the business size standard is $7.5 million. Vendors shall be registered on System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/, to include listing NAICS 811310 in order to be eligible for award. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
