- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Johnson Controls, Inc (JCI) to ensure that the JCI security systems and nurse call system at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) is covered for preventative maintenance and support for the period of performance. The proposed service is to furnish parts and labor to support and maintain in good working condition the JCI security and nurse call systems located at SLVHCS, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. The period of performance is (12) twelve months from December 18, 2017 through November 30, 2018 during scheduled intervals on a weekly basis (24 hours/week) consistent with the operations of the Medical Center, manufacturer s recommended specifications, and the equipment s seasonal service operational requirements. SLVHCS hours of operation are 7:30am 7:00pm Monday-Friday excluding federal holidays. The systems covered are as follows: - Situator - P2000 - Ascom nurse call All materials and services provided shall be in accordance with the OEM specifications and guidelines. During schedule service intervals, all parts including batteries and accessories shall be replaced at no additional cost to the Government. Unscheduled and scheduled travel are included as part of the service contract. Award will be made on or about December 15, 2017. The NAICS Code is 561621 Security Systems Services. This notice is NOT a request for quote, a solicitation of offers, or an invitation for bid. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote to leslie.robinson@va.gov, which may be considered by the agency.
