Sources Sought for Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Nashville Area Office, Manlius Field Office This is a SOURCE SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of small business sources including: 8(a) Certified Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone) Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), and Veteran Owned Small Business. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED WITH THIS SYNOPSIS. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requested. Description/Scope of Work: The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Indian Health Service (IHS), anticipates a procurement resulting in a Five (5) Year Contract, Base Year plus Four (4) Option Year, providing individual water and wastewater installations at home sites throughout New York State. This procurement will provide well installations ( Niagara County only ), water and sewer connections, onsite septic system construction, and soil test pits at homes sites located on various Tribal Nations throughout the State of New York using an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) covering following IHS geographic area: · Suffolk County and Nassau County · Niagara County The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110 - Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors, and 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Interested PRIME CONTRACTORS are invited to submit a capabilities statement/narrative demonstrating the firm's experience in well installations ( Niagara County only ), water and sewer connections, onsite septic system construction, and soil test pits. The submittal shall be no longer than five (5) pages and shall include the following information: 1. Company name, address, point of contact with verifiably correct telephone number and email address. 2. Company business size, including any official teaming arrangements as a partnership or joint venture. Company documentation shall include verifying status as a certified 8(a) small business, women-owned small business, small disadvantaged business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB-Zone) small business, services disabled veteran owned small business, or veteran owned small business. Or any other qualifying Small Business Sources. 3. Have you previously accomplished work in any of the two areas? If so, which one(s)? Also, please indicate which of the two (2) identified areas you are interested in submitting a proposal. Details of three (3) similar projects completed within the last five (5) years that are relevant to the work that will be required under this requirement. Firms must include the following information for each of the three (3) similar projects. a. State whether the firm acted as the Prime Contractor or Subcontractor. b. Dates for the three (3) projects. c. Project references (including owner with telephone number and e-mail address). d. Project cost, term, and complexity of job. Projects are considered "similar" to the anticipated procurement project when they meet the following characteristics: 1. Project (requirement) was completed five years prior to TODAY'S DATE. 2. The project was for specific/similar services rendered; 3. At least one project's total cost (inclusive of modifications) must be greater than $150,000. E-MAIL RESPONSES ARE REQUIRED. This is for planning purposes only and is a market research tool to determine availability and adequacy of potential Small Business Sources. The Government will not reimburse responders for the cost of the submittals.
