- Amendment I Question One Will the contractor be permitted to remove the shipmodel Tusitala to their repair facility? Answer One The contractor will be permitted to restore the Tusitala ship model at their facility, provided they demonstrate adequate insurance, provide a suitable shipping container and labor to pack and unpack at the museum, and all shipping cost. The contractor will take adequate photos to clarify condition at time of receipt from the museum, and prior to shipping back to the museum after restoration. The contractor will provide a written document accepting responsibility when the Tusitala leaves the museum. The contractor is responsible for all damages incurred from the time the ship model leaves the museum until its return and condition is accepted by museum staff.
