Description
UPDATED: Solicitation Number # 80GSFC18R0011 hereby replaces Pre-solicitiation # 80GSFC17R0027. Offerors responding to this solicitation shall use Solicitation Number # 80GSFC18R0011. __________________________________________________________________ Pre-solicitiation # 80GSFC17R0027 NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Absolute Pressure Transducers for the Europa Mission. The Europa Mission is being formulated and implemented by joint partnership between the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Applied Physics Laboratory, with NASA/GSFC building the propulsion system for the Applied Physics Laboratory. NASA/GSFC requires the facilities, personnel, services, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to design, analyze, manufacture, test, and deliver the Absolute Pressure Transducers hardware and data. The Government anticipates a release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) in October 2017, with an anticipated offer due date in November 2017. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR part 12. This procurement will be a small business set-aside. It is anticipated the resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 336415 and 1,250 employees, respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer when applicable, which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at https://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html The solicitation and any documents related to the procurement will be available over the internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site (www.fbo.gov) for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
