- This is a Modification to the announcement directing interested parties to the FedConnect web page at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/ where details of a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0118Q0018 Mod 2 may be viewed. THIS Modification addresses additional Questions & Answers, additional Requirement information. Please see attachments to Mod 2. The National Land Cover Database (NLCD) project at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center has a requirement to update and improve the Land Cover Mapping (LCM) tool, a suite of software routines used in the production of the NLCD that run in conjunction with the ERDAS Imagine, Cubist, and See5 commercial software packages. The current version of this custom software interface that allows mapping with See5 © and Cubist © was designed to work with ERDAS versions 2011 and older. The software will be updated to work with ERDAS 2016 and newer. This RFQ constitutes the only solicitation. Period of Performance is Date of Award through 10/1/18 for an update to the LCM Software Suite(See Details. See the Requirement as included with the attached RFQ. If this requirement detail or any part of this package is not accessible in FedConnect, please email this Purchasing Agent chieb@usgs.gov for a complete copy. This Software Package is for the USGS/EROS, 47914 252nd St. Sioux Falls, SD 57198. The posted RFQ contains a description of the requirement, Instructions to Vendors, and applicable clauses. All vendors who believe they can fully meet this requirement, have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and are registered in SAM.gov are invited to submit electronic quotes for this posted RFQ. NAICS code for this acquisition is 511210 software publishers. QUESTIONS are due via email (only) to chieb@usgs.gov no later than Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 12:00 PM Noon CST or 1300 EST, Late questions will be not be accepted.
