- NSN 1377-01-541-5088, MLU-63/B, JM93, CUTTER, CABLE, CARTRIDGE ACUTATED EXCEPT AS MODIFIED OR AMPLIFIED IN RFP, THIS ITEM CONTAINS CLASS "C" EXPLOSIVES. DFAR CLAUSE 252.223-7002, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR AMMUNITION AND EXPLOSIVES (MAY 1994) APPLIES. THIS ACQUISITION CONTAINS EXPLOSIVE NAVAL ORDNANCE ITEMS, WHICH REQUIRE SPECIAL SECURITY, SAFETY AND TRANSPORTATION CLAUSES. THE CLAUSES MAY BE FOUND IN SECTION "I". Sole Source N742.17. Paper copies will not be provided. Procurement is restricted to AMTEC (Tech Ord). A limited drawing package is available. Drawings are NOT available on CD. Item is explosive. A Safety Survey will be required. Explosive Weight: 0.006600. Explosive Class: 1.4. The solicitation contains LAT, CDRLs, FOB Origin, X-Ray & N-Ray Requirements. Effective April 1, 2008 FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) website will now include current FedTeDS functionality. No interfaces or user accounts should be distributed as a part of this change. NOTE: This is an electronically formatted solicitation, available only on the Navy Web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation are not available from the Navy. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
