Description

This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621511 with a size standard of $32.5 million. The VA will award a firm fixed price, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to the MVAHCS only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service are intended to begin February 01, 2018 and run through January 31, 2019 for the base year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about November 20, 2017 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The MVAHCS requires contractual services to provide 0.5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) a board certified/eligible Clinical Pathologist as well as a board certified/eligible in Transfusion Medicine on site in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) specifications to beneficiaries of the VA and the MVAHCS. Proposals, when requested, must be submitted to the issuing office in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only.
