ONLY APPROVED SOURCES OR DISTRIBUTORS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS BUY. ITEM: CYLINDER ASSEMBLY, ACTUATING, LINEAR NSN: 3040-01-269-8882 MFR/CAGE/PART NO: JARP INDUSTRIES (63899) P/N 140669B OR HADER INCORPORATED (1N365) P/N HI8410-019 INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: ORIGIN/ORIGIN FOB: DESTINATION PACKAGING: MILITARY/A MINIMUM/MAXIMUM QUANTITY: 50 EACH/1,739 EACH KIND OF CONTRACT: FIRM FIXED PRICE The solicitation will post on/about 10 November 2017, with offers due on/about 13 December 2017 (see solicitation for actual offer due date). Interested offerors are encouraged to visit the FBO website often for solicitation updates. The solicitation contains DLAD provision 52.215-9023, entitled 'Reverse Auction,' which allows for the use of reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com. Any questions related to the reverse auction system or process can be directed to the contract specialist.
