- SPRMM1-17-R-HA01 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. DLA Maritime-Mechanicsburg intends to issue, negotiate, and award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract (see FAR 16.504) to PRC-DeSoto (CAGE 23354) for the acquisition of Primer Coatings: (NSN: 8010-01-565-2614, PN: DOVRSATHNNTA/B688 and NSN: 8010-01-568-7046, PN: DOVRSATHNNTA/B2GL) in support of the Special Hull Treatment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The above mentioned NSN’s are the only approved primer coatings for anechoic tiles onboard Navy Submarines by the Special Hull Treatment Program Office. The anticipated contract structure is a 3 Year Base Ordering Period plus 2 one-year options. The estimated yearly quantities follow: NSN: 8010-01-565-2614 Description: Primer Coating - 20 ounce kit with syringe Estimated Yearly QTY: 2984 NSN: 8010-01-568-7046 Description: Primer Coating - 2 gallon pail with two catalyst bottles Estimated Yearly QTY: 1350 AMC/AMSC: 3Z AMC 3 = Acquire Directly from Actual Manufacturer AMSC Z = These parts are determined to be a commercial/non-developmental/off-the-shelf item. Commercial item descriptions, commercial vendor catalog or price lists or commercial manuals assigned a technical manual number apply. If one source is available, AMCs 3, 4, or 5 are valid. If at least two sources are available, AMCs 1 or 2 are valid.
