- DESCRIPTION: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order to Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ for repair of repairable efforts for the Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW). It is anticipated the resultant order will be cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed price and will include priced option(s) for future possible repairs. The work performed under this effort consists of test and repair to condition code A, five JSOW Guidance Electronic Units (GEU) and two JSOW Seekerhead Assemblies; including all program management, systems engineering and administrative support to execute the aforementioned tasks and provide a monthly status report to PMA 201 JSOW APML. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. RMS is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer for the JSOW and as such is the only company that has the requisiste knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement. THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 26 October 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses to this synopsis must be via email to the Contract Specialist. No telephone responses will be accepted. Companies interested in subcontracting should contact Sabino Arvizu, 1151 E. Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a delivery order for the effort mentioned above.
