- Solicitation Number: SP3300-18-R-5001 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: DLA Distribution has identified a requirement for a Voice Pick System for implementation at DLA Distribution Centers around the world. The scope of this effort is for a contract to provide for all software, consumables, licenses, and pre and post implementation support services for a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) voice pick system that can be configured to interoperate with DLA's existing Warehouse Management System (WMS); DSS. This system should provide real time, encrypted transmission, and guaranteed delivery voice interface between the user and DSS, providing placing, picking, inventory, and auditing instructions, while simultaneously printing labels for completed operations to accompany materiel for use in next phases of the shipping process. The solution should, at a minimum, simplify the user interface, reduce training time, increase safety and workplace awareness, and enhance productivity and quality of the warehouse work products. The Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) will be responsible for hosting the software. Listed below are the three phases of this requirement: PHASE 1 - Configuration Phase, PHASE 2 - Pilot Test Phase, PHASE 3 - Enterprise Implementation as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year ordering period. The estimated ordering period for this requirement is shown below: 19 March 2018 - 18 March 2023 This acquisition will be solicited unrestricted pursuant to full and open competition under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. Contract award will be made on the basis of competition. It is anticipated that contract award will be made in March 2018. The NAICS code and Size Standard are 334220 and 1250 employees, respectively. All documents related to this notice will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website. There will be no advance notification of amendment/modification/solicitation issuance.
