- This notice is to assist the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in determining potential sources capable of providing an OEM certified Field Service Representative and overhaul/repair of the R391 propeller and components utilized on USCG HC-27J and HC-130J aircraft IAW current OEM manuals or other OEM component maintenance manuals. Potential sources must be able to provide evidence of possession of an OEM license to ensure access to the most current OEM overhaul data and OEM replacement parts. The OEM is GE Aviation Systems LLC, DBA Dowty Propellers (93366). This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. This synopsis is for information, planning and market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation announcement and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The overhaul/repair components will include unscheduled repairs, service bulletin incorporation, and possible modifications for the propeller assemblies and components requiring a complete teardown, inspection, rework, assembly, and testing.
