- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision required to Repair Tinicum Range Rear Light at U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Philadelphia; 2nd Street, Paulsboro; New Jersey 08066. Major work items include: Provide services, materials and equipment for the removal of loose or cracked mortar from all the stone base piers and repairing them by tuckpointing new mortar into the joints. The connections of horizontal double channel braces require steel plates to be welded on the sides of the webs of the channels to the tower vertical legs. Many of the rod braces around the perimeter of the tower have cast iron connector plates that are cracked or missing. All of the connectors need to be replaced with replacement connector plate and a U-bolt to reconnect the rod bracing. The work includes the replacement of building trim components and preparation and painting of the entire structure. All interior and exterior surfaces including but not limited to: the tower structure, stairs, hardware, tower base, entrance pavilion, granite leg bases, entrance, railings (interior and exterior), original building components (excluding replacement windows and lantern glazing), tower legs, braces, lantern exterior, lantern roof and gallery deck shall be prepped and painted. Due to the age of the structure, it is likely that lead-based paint is present on all or most painted surfaces. The Contractor shall comply with OSHA lead in construction standard and other applicable regulatory standards to protect workers from exposure to airborne lead dust. The ATON structure is located in Glouchester County, New Jersey. Period of performance is 180 DANTP. This procurement is estimated between $500,000 and $1M. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside The applicable NAICS is 237990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5M.
