Description

This notice of intent is to permit Other than Full and Open Competition. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to award a new Firm Fixed-Price contract to LOC Performance Products, Inc., Plymouth, MI (CAGE code 1V513) for the production of up to 534 Final Drives in support of up to 267 each of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) A4 variant. This procurement is for the purchase of Final Drives (P/N 12542293). Product Manager (PdM) BFV is acquiring these parts. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on the authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition as in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). The Justification and Approval (J&A) permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, was signed by the Competition Advocate on 6 June 2017. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, for consideration by ACC-WRN. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
