- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to BoardEx dba The Deal, LLC, 14 Wall St # 15, New York, NY, 10005, on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Office of the Comptroller has a requirement to procure Annual Subscription to BoardEx data, accessed via Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). Specifically, OCC would like to purchase an annual subscription to BoardEx, North America All Data. The subscription will be at institutional level with unlimited users. The BoardEx database available through the WRDS platform contains a large number of variables that provide a wide range of information on a company's board of directors including: director age, gender, nationality, employment, education, compensation, committee assignment, individual networks, number of shares held and more. The full company coverage includes 17,000 firms with information on 850,000 directors, senior managers, and other individuals. BoardEx analyzes all of the publicly listed banks plus many of the notable private financial institutions. The data includes organizational summary information such as ticker and ISIN numbers which will allow for the board data to be merged with various financial datasets available at the OCC. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received in writing within three days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
