No telephone requests will be accepted. The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal anticipates issuing a brand name firm‐fixed price IDIQ contract for the procurement of: Electronics Inc. "A" strips for medium intensity applications. Electronics Inc. "N" strips used for low intensity applications. Type of Strips: "A" is used for shot peening with cast shot or cut wire shot. Thickness "A‐1S" =.051" (1.3 mm) Flatness (Pre‐Bow) "A‐1S" =±.0005″ (±0.0127 mm) Hardness "A‐1S" =45‐48 Rc Thickness Tolerance "A‐1S" = ±.0005″ (±0.0127 mm) "N" strips are used for low intensity applications. Thickness "N‐1S" =.031" (0.79 mm) Flatness (Pre‐Bow) "N‐1S" =±.0005″ (±0.0127 mm) Hardness "N‐1S" =45‐48 Rockwell C Hardness Thickness Tolerance "N‐1S" = ±.0005″ (±0.0127 mm) This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose.
