- Q&A Amendment 0001 Amendment 0001 has been added to extend the due date to 20 September 2017 as well as extend the delivery date to 16 November 2018. Questions and answers have been added to provide further clarifications to this solicitation. Perform Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) testing on 8 surge tank floors at Garrison Dam. Testing shall be performed on entire surge tank floor with a floor scanner. The MFL floor scan shall be able to inspect through coated tank bottoms. If a MFL floor scanner is unable to scan inaccessible areas, such as adjacent to the floor-to-shell corner weld or under internal piping, then manual MFL scanning will be required. When the MFL floor scan indicates areas of pitting/corrosion, the site of the deficiency shall be confirmed with ultrasonic testing (UT). Due to outage schedules 4 mobilization/demobilizations will be required for this contract.
