- Request for Quote to provide twenty (20) custom manufactured tactical fiber optic cable reels to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Critical Incident Response Group's Counter IED Section. Specs/Requirments: 1) Fiber Optic reels will be ST-ST-MM 2FIB 62.5 Tact Distance 1000 meters in length. 2) Cable will be spooled on the reels with four (4) foot of fiber optic cable breakout on the reel end. 3) Each cable end will have an additional two (2) foot pulling eye with a lanyard. The pulling eye needs to be two (2) foot in diameter. 4) The design of the custom fiber optic cable reels needs to satisfy the user's transit cases. Transit case is 15"x15"x12". 5) Provide testing criteria and results for the custom fiber reel and spooling requested, ensuring the reel fits in the deployment kit as designed in the outline. 6) Vendor will provide all necessary supplies, spares, tools, and test equipment for design and testing of tactical fiber optic cabling.
