- Description
- To accommodate the existing dimensions is permissible to utilize single girder cranes. As noted in sheet S-001, the existing structures were analyzed with the data presented on that sheet. Substitutions are permitted but the adequacy of the structure must first be checked prior to ordering the new cranes. Submit proposed crane substitutions to the government for approval. DPW Engineering will evaluate the existing structures for proposed cranes and notify contractor if revised runway beam sizes will be required. Attached is the technical data recently installed and used in our analysis. Crane substitutions shall be similar in function to those attached.
