- Question Sheet Registration Sheet EIT (IT) Shared Services Program Description DOT EITS Services Industry Day Announcement - Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 10:00 a.m INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT AND REGISTRATION Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Shared (EITS) Services for Department of Transportation (DOT) An Industry Day for DOT's EITS services requirement (see Attachment 1 - Program Description) will be conducted on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from promptly 10:00am to 1:00pm EST (Sign In commences at 9:00am). Location: Department of Transportation, West Building, Media Center, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC, 20590. The registration site for EITS Industry Day (Industry Day) on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, is now open. All interested attendees must register for this event by filling out the Attachment 2- Registration Form and sending to the email address at: EITS_Competition@dot.gov. The Registration Form is due before 1:00 pm, EST Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Only registered individuals/companies shall be allowed to attend the EITS Services Industry Day. ATTENTION: Please note that registration is first-come, first accommodated. For security reasons individuals/companies not registered for this event shall not be allowed to attend. A maximum of two (2) individuals per company will be permitted to register/attend. However, the Government reserves the right to further restrict the number of attendees based on available space. Telephone requests will not be accepted. When submitting Industry Day registration information to EITS_Competition@dot.gov, please include "Industry Day Registration" in the email subject line. Any changes to the Industry Day will be posted to FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov. Material presented and discussed (including Attachment 1-Program Description) at the Industry Day are for informational purposes only. All official requirements and information regarding the EITS Services requirement and any resulting RFP will be posted at FedBizOpps. No videotaping or tape recording by attendees is allowed. Only registered companies will receive a confirmation email regarding attendance (this information will be sent to the company POC name via the e-mail provided in the registered information). This notice should not be construed as a: (1) commitment by the Department of Transportation/Office of the Secretary to enter any agreement with any entity attending the Industry Day, (2) commitment to issue any RFP concerning the subject of this notice, or (3) request for proposals or request for information. Additional Information - Question Deadline Attendees shall have an opportunity to ask questions and submit written questions prior to the Industry Day, as well as at the end of the Government's presentation at Industry Day. Questions prior to the Industry Day: Questions are due on or before Wednesday, October 4, 2017, 4:30 pm EST. Please submit via email to EITS_Competition@dot.gov using the Attachment 3- Question Sheet. Responses to Questions will be posted on FedBizOpps website. When submitting Industry Day Questions to EITS_Competition@dot.gov, please include "Questions" in the email subject line. Questions at Industry Day: Attendees will submit questions on 3X5 index cards made available during the Industry Day presentation. To the extent possible, questions submitted on that day will be answered and then subsequently posted on FedBizOpps website. Agenda: The Industry Day Agenda will include presentations and briefing on the (1) Requirement/Contract History and Overview; (2) Technical Overview; Q&A Session. A final agenda will be available at the Industry Day. IMPORTANT: Please note the Department of Transportation is a secure building and before entering the building, you must show a valid photo ID and report to the security desk. In addition, to facilitate starting the Industry Day briefing promptly at 10:00 a.m., it is requested that attendees report to the DOT Building by 9:00 am.
