Description
The solicitation Number W912DQ17B1023 has been udated to read W912DQ18B1000. The Solicitation will be available after October 1st. The solicitation, including any amendment, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for Construction Activities for Levee repair to numerous Federal Levees due to damage from June 2015 prolonged flood events The Federal Levee involved include the right bank levee of the Ottawa, located in Franklin County, Kansas along the Marais des Cygnes River. Work will consist of required fill placement for the landside and riverside slope failures, quarry-run rock placement to restore slope failures, and seeding and mulching repairs on the levees. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, the pre- solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation. If there are any changes to the scheduled site visit, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation or amendments as applicable. This solicitation is expected to result in a single contract award. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimate magnitude if this construction project is: Between $250,000 and $500,000 This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and evaluated in accordance with FAR 14.1. The estimate performance period for completion of construction is 180 days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation will be available on or about August 14, 2017 and quotes will be due on or about September 14 2017. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. This procurement is competitive small business set aside with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). To view or download the solicitation requires registration at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov and www.ProjNet.Org. Downloads will be available through the FBO and the Projnet.org websites. Offerors are responsible for checking the FBO and ProjNet websites frequently for any update(s) or questions and answers to the Solicitation. The website is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. Any amendments will be available from the FBO website. The government is not responsible for any loss of internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document at the referenced website. Prior to award, interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an offeror is not successfully and actively registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next rospective offeror. The solicitation and associated information will be available from the FedBizOpps website at https://www.fbo.gov. This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing; therefore, it is the Offeror's responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. Bid Bonds in the amount of 20% of the bid price. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued.
