- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, Waymart, PA, intends to issue a firm-fixed price, sole source purchase order to Waymart Area Authority, Waymart, PA 18472. This non-competitive action is being issued by the Federal Correctional Institution, Otisville, NY for the period October 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017. The United States Penitentiary has a need for sewer wastewater services services. The Government believes that Waymart Area Authority is the only vendor that will satisfy the agency requirement with continuing wastewater services. This is not a request for competitive quotes. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. However, all information received before the close date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
