- USDA, ARS, Pullman, WA has a requirement to for glutomatic and dryer system at E202 Food Quality BLDG, Pullman, WA 99164. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is AG-0521-S-17-0031 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 334516, business size standard is 1000. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price service contract for this requirement. Specification for the glutomatic and dryer system are: -Needs to wash gluten from flour samples -Purify gluten in a centrifuge and dry wet gluten. -Minimum of 10 gram flour samples would be optimum amount of flour use for this operation. -Sample handling and products made should be able to produce a Gluten Index number of intact gluten vs. wash gluten. Each offeror shall include their proposed delivery schedule (in days after award) as part of their quotation.
