- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - LPKF LASER & ELECTRONICS (SUPPLY & INSTALL HEAD UNIT FOR PROTOMAT S63) SYNOPSIS: MICC-West Point intends to solicit and negotiate with only one responsible source under the authority of FAR 13-106-1(b)(1)(i). "Only one responsible source" is based on the company being the sole developer and provider of the product(s) and/or service(s) and is therefore the only source capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with: LPKF LASER & ELECTRONICS, 12555 SW LEVETON DR., TUALATIN, OR 97062. 1. First Day On-Site Service, Maintenance, Installation, or Training (USA-Based Factory Engineer) = 1 each - - This includes ALL necessary equipment, labor, supplies, travel expenses, and airfare (USA ONLY) (1-8 hours total). NOTE: Overtime will NOT be authorized for this project. 2. Head Unit for ProtoMat S63 = 1 each - - For use on S/N# 2624001088 and lower. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before 09/14/2017 by 04:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). All responses are to be sent by email to jorge.l.acevedo4.civ@mail.mil.
